Burpydelhi

Delhi-Foodie capital

Delhi's food joints

Delhi!! the capital of India, but one can announce it as junk food capital as well. Let's talk about street food love - busy lanes of chandni chowk to small shops of karol bagh, from cholle bhature to kachori, from street style noodles to fried momos, from aloo chur chur naan to paneer parantha, from bhelpuri to golgappe. Delhi covers it all!!

Every delhite will surely be a foodie but the food preferences changes from season to season. Rainy season is reserved for pakodas, summer is for kulfis, falooda, ice gola and many more. But I think some junk foods are above this seasonal barrier. isn't it?

MOMOS- with extra red chilli sauce or as we delhites call it "Bhaiya! momos wali Chutney dena and extra mayonnaise".

Top 4 Momos joints in Delhi:

  1. Chimney sizzlers - It is situated in Chankyapuri ,Yashwant place,New Delhi. This outlet serves soft, juicy, mouthwatering and delicate momos at just Rs-150/-(mutton) and Rs-120/-(veg). This outlet is not much in limelight(and i don't know why). I can bet no outlet can serve juicy momos like them. So it's a must try.
  2. WOW momos- This has multiple outlets in Delhi. this outlet serves huge variety of momos from veg to chicken, from steamed to baked, from spicy garlic momos to chocolate momos. my personal favorites are schezwan  chicken momos and baked momos.
  3. Dragon Noodles(Vaishali & Indrapuram)- I won't say much about their steamed momos but pan momos were so good.
  4. Avantika Chinese corner- it is situated in Lajpat Nagar. The huge size of their momos, says it all.

GOLGAPPA- It's universal rate should be "10 ke 3"
Street food is love but these days cafes are coming up with some really exciting dishes, mainly their presentations impresses us a lot. Every delhite is different some pays attention to ambience, some to services but a real foodie will always focus only on the food. It's like "Wow!!what a place, but ohh! there is less butter on dal makhani" not acceptable right?. This is what food  bloggers do for you, they review outlets and dishes for you.
Delhi or dilli? whatever you call it, for me it's burpydelhi.
